Omnicell team wins Hackathon using Dynamics 365 Guides

Omnicell’s Engineering team is the latest group to complete the CraneMorley Academy HoloLens Mixed Reality Guides Training. Armed with the HoloLens 2 and skills acquired during their training with CraneMorley, they competed in a 3-day internal hackathon, winning first prize!

The Omnicell team was able to quickly develop Guides for complicated training procedures. The 3 guides they produced included software training, along with training that utilized 3D models and actual hardware to demonstrate standard procedures. The innovative Guides caught the interest of other Omnicell departments which are now looking to add Guides capability to innovate their own processes.
